Committed to a sustainable future

SciDev's purpose is to deliver innovative solutions for a sustainable future. We are dedicated to reducing harm and protecting our environment for future generations.

Environmental

Reducing impact, recovering water

[DRAFT — pending Marketing approval] SciDev is committed to delivering long-term value through responsible, sustainable operations. We actively minimise our environmental footprint while supporting economic and social outcomes that benefit our stakeholders, clients and the communities in which we operate. Our solutions are engineered to improve water efficiency, reduce waste and optimise industrial processes, enhancing environmental performance without compromising productivity.

[DRAFT — pending Marketing approval] Our FluorofIX™ technology remediates PFAS-contaminated water, removing PFAS to below the lowest commercially available limit of reporting while minimising waste. In FY25, we treated more than 600 million litres of PFAS-contaminated water across seven operational sites.

[DRAFT — pending Marketing approval] In the mining and industrial sectors, MaxiFlox®, our proprietary range of high-performance polymers, plays a critical role in tailings management and water recovery — improving solid-liquid separation, reducing waste volume, enhancing water recycling and lowering the environmental footprint of resource-intensive operations.

[DRAFT — pending Marketing approval] In the oil and gas sector, our CatChek™ chemistry supports more sustainable production by improving reservoir efficiency and reducing water cuts, fines migration and corrosion, helping operators lower water usage and waste.

Social

Our people and our communities

[DRAFT — pending Marketing approval] At SciDev, our people are at the heart of everything we do. Their expertise, commitment and drive enable us to deliver exceptional value to our clients and make a real difference across the industries we serve.

Everyone Safe, Every Day

People are the heart of our business, and nothing is more important than ensuring everyone goes home safely every day.

[DRAFT — pending Marketing approval] In FY25, we recorded zero Lost Time Injuries and just one medical treatment injury across all operations — demonstrating the strength of our safety culture and the effectiveness of our systems. We've also strengthened our approach to psychosocial safety, with regular reviews of psychosocial risks and an Employee Assistance Program available to all staff.

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

[DRAFT — pending Marketing approval] In FY25, women comprised 30% of our workforce, a 5% increase on the previous year. Our Energy Services division achieved gender parity, with 50% female representation in technical roles.

  • FY25 — Board: 0 of 5 (0%) · Senior Managers/Managers: 10 of 37 (27%) · Whole of Organisation: 26 of 86 (30%)
  • FY24 — Board: 1 of 5 (20%) · Senior Managers/Managers: 8 of 39 (21%) · Whole of Organisation: 22 of 89 (25%)

Supporting Our Communities

[DRAFT — pending Marketing approval] We are committed to creating long-term positive impacts in the communities where we operate. Our partnership with Schools Plus supports the Two-way Science program across the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (APY) Lands, now reaching more than 300 students, 100 educators and 100 community members across ten schools.

[DRAFT — pending Marketing approval] We also support the Krait Foundation, which assists veterans of Australia's special operations forces as they transition into civilian life, and — in the Americas — Texas Children's Hospital, alongside partners including Devon Energy, Baker Hughes and CASA of Oklahoma County, Inc.
